It is important for the dentist to have a perfectly-lit workplace. This is achieved through the use of powerful light-sources and optic light-guides, which shine directly onto the instrument-heads. Cooling is achieved through a combination of air and water and drainage through a modern suction system, light-years away from the fondly-remembered "pipe" of times past.
Our dental equipment is a universal instrument, where only the end-devices are changed. The most commonly used ones include the drill, ultrasound tartar removal device, hardening gun, air-flow adaptor for the blast-sanding of teeth (water and air are mixed with fine particles of a special powder and sprayed onto teeth at high pressure). Location of the independent compressor in another room means that the equipment operates silently. The comfortable, anatomically shaped chair can be electronically adjusted to a virtually horizontal position. The patient can thus lie down during a longer-lasting treatment, which is pleasant not only for the patient, but also for the doctor, who is then able to sit down and fully concentrate on his/her work.
